The distance from the airport to the city centre (Yagan Square) is 13 kilometers / 8.1 miles from terminals T3/T4 and 17 kilometres / 10.6 miles from terminals T1/T2. Train to Perth

Perth Airport is easily accessible by public transport, since 2022 the Airport Line train service (commuter rail) connects the airport directly with High Wycombe, East Perth, Perth, West Perth and Claremont. There are two train stations at the airport, one at Terminal 1 / Terminal 2 (Airport Central) and one at Terminal 3 / Terminal 4 (Redcliffe). Airport Central railway station is a few minutes’ walk from Terminal 1 and Terminal 2, accessible via a modern walkway (Skybridge). From Terminal 3 and Terminal 4, it is a 15-minute walk to Redcliffe railway station. Fortunately, buses run from Terminal 3 and Terminal 4 to Redcliffe, the shuttle service Bus Route 292 takes 5 minutes.

The Airport Line train service to and from Perth Airport operates every 12 minutes during peak hours and every 15 minutes outside rush hours and on weekends and public holidays. During the night, you have a travel option every 30 minutes. Travel time to the centre of Perth is 17 minutes (T3/T4) or 20 minutes (T1/T2). A train ride from Perth Airport to High Wycombe train station located east of the airport takes just a few minutes. The price for a single ticket is 5.10 AUD (2 Zones Cash Fare), a day ticket costs AUD 10.30 (DayRider). Children up to 4 years travel for free in Perth. Tickets can be purchased online and from the ticket machines at the stations. It’s more economical if you are in possession of a rechargeable SmartRider travel card.
