The second busiest airport in Montenegro is conveniently located close to the country’s capital. The new terminal was opened in 2006, so the airport is fairly modern. The airport offers many connections with Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport, operated by Montenegro Airlines and Air Serbia. It is not possible to travel by public transport to and from Podgorica Airport, but there is a train station (Aerodrom) at a 15-minute walk from the airport.
