Bus to Poznan
Two bus lines operate between Poznan Airport and the city, one during the day between 05:00 hours and 23:00 hours (bus line 159) and one at night between 23:30 hours and 04:00 hours (bus line 222). Bus line 159 runs between Poznan Airport and bus stop ‘Poznań Główny’, in front of the main railway station. This is a regular bus service, so there are some stops along the way. A bus ride to the next to last stop ‘Rondo Kaponiera’ at the edge of the city centre takes 25 minutes. Bus line 159 runs every 15 to 20 minutes, also on weekends and public holidays. Night bus 222 departs only one time per hour in the direction of Poznan Airport and ‘Poznań Główny’.

You can buy tickets from the ticket machine, to the right after leaving the Arrivals hall. In addition, you can buy tickets at the ticket machine on the bus, only with cash money. A public transport ticket (bus and tram) allowing you to travel for 45 minutes costs 6.00 PLN (3.00 PLN for children). It is important to validate your ticket on board the bus or tram at a ‘kasownik’ machine. If you plan to stay for some days in Poznan, you can buy relatively inexpensive tickets for 24 hours (15.00 PLN) and 7 days (50.00 PLN). Poznan Airport is located within Zone A.
