Brioni/FILS to Pula, Rovinj and Poreč
Shuttle buses run from Pula Airport to various destinations in Istria throughout the year. From the airport, buses depart 30 minutes after the arrival of each flight. There are three routes from the airport (Aerodrom), which makes it easy to reach many destinations in the region. The routes are Pula Airport – Pula (city centre, Puntižela, Fažana, Verudela and Medulin), Pula Airport – Umag and Pula Airport – Rabac. The shuttle bus in the direction of Umag also stops in Vodnjan, Bale, Vrsar, Funtana, Poreč and Novigrad, the bus service to Rabac stops in Barban and Liban.
In Fažana it is possible to get on a boat to the popular and beautiful Brionian Islands, consisting of 14 islands. The largest islands are Veli Brioni / Otok Veliki Brijun and Mali Brioni / Otok Mali Brijun. Veli Broni used to be the summer residence of Yugoslav leader Tito.
The journey time and price varies per destination, for example, a single journey to the bus stop in the centre of the city (Shuttle bus za aerodrom stajalište) costs € 6.00 per person. It’s located northeast of the city centre within walking distance of the amphitheatre and ferry port. Travel time from Pula Airport is approximately 20 minutes. The price for a bus ticket to Rovinj is € 20.00, the price for a ticket to Poreč is € 40.00. The shuttle bus services are carried out by bus companies Brioni and FILS.
