It is not possible to travel from and to the airport by public transport, however in the winter months some bus services operate from and to Rovaniemi Airport. Every winter from November 1, you can take the Airportbus / Airport Express Shuttle to Rovaniemi (9 kilometres, 20 minutes) and the Santa Claus Bus to Santa Claus Village (3 kilometres, 5 minutes).
