Me and my family were at the rovaniemi airport on time we had 2 hrs in our hands. We had plans to do, we reached at 7am and till 7:35am we did bag checking and baggage drop. Then we were sitting then security came to all the people over there and said we have to do security check again and the people who had already done that like us were 20 to 30 people and we had to do it again and till that time 100 people where already there in the line and we 20 to 30 people had to do it again whereas we woke up early and did everything on time we had to wait till 8am for our chance just because their staffs were training. And we wasted 1hr more for it when we did it before. Not only me and my family but more 20 people.

Don't bother with a taxi if you can help it, it's a flat rate of 25 euros for a 5 minute drive.

People who control baggage very rude!

This week we travelled to Lapland. The airport was really small, But everything is ok. There is only one store, but I liked it, because for less than 10 minutes from landing you are out of the airport. Passport check is almost in the exit ot the sleeve from the Palin (not sure if this is the right word?!) Otside there are always buses to the centre and hotels, because their schedule is according to the flights. 7 euro to the centre. You can not get lost or make a mistake.

A small cosy airport, in the middle of beautiful Lapland. Clean, comfortable, and even a nice small play area for the kids. Not often very busy, so check-in goes very fast. No need to be there hours before take-off.
