Salerno Costa d’Amalfi Airport is an international airport in the Campania region, in the south of Italy. The airport reopened in July 2024 and has been serving commercial aviation once again since then. The airport is named after the nearest city (Salerno) and the Amalfi Coast, one of the touristic highlights in Italy. There are two airports in Campania, Naples Airport and Salerno Costa d’Amalfi Airport, both operated by Gesac. Don’t let the name of the airport influence your perception too much, destinations such as Sorrento and Positano are closer to Naples Airport than Salerno Costa d’Amalfi Airport. For a visit to the beautiful ‘Parco Nazionale del Cilento, Vallo di Diano e Alburni’, however, Salerno Costa d’Amalfi Airport is the closest Italian airport.

The airport is located southeast of Salerno, close to the E45 motorway Autostrada del Mediterraneo.
