Salvador Bahia Airport is a modern and well-organised airport in the east of Brazil. From the airport, you can reach the centre of Salvador or Salvador da Bahia by metro, bus and taxi. Since 2017, Salvador Bahia Airport is operated by the French airport operator VINCI Airports.

The airport is located northeast of the city (São Cristóvão) close to Flamengo Beach and Parque das Dunas Salvador. The BA-526 and BA-099 motorways are a short distance from the airport.

The airport has one terminal. The check-in desks are located in the main building. After the security check, you can get to the boarding gates in North Concourse (11 jetbridges) and South Concourse (via a footbridge, 7 jetbridges).
