San Andrés is a tropical island in the Caribbean Sea in the Colombian department of San Andrés y Providencia. It is a popular holiday destination for Colombians and tourists. Remarkably, Nicaragua (200 km) is much closer than Colombia (750 km). The smaller and less touristy islands of Providencia and Santa Catalina are not directly accessible from the Colombian mainland, El Embrujo Airport in Providencia is only accessible with a transfer at San Andrés Airport. Flights between San Andrés and Providencia are provided by Satena and operated by Searca.

The airport is located in the north of the island, close to San Andrés Town. In front of the airport is Carrera 10. The island of San Andrés is located 200 kilometres east of Nicaragua and 750 kilometres north of Colombia.
How many terminals does San Andrés Airport have?
San Andrés Airport consists of an old two-storey terminal. The check-in desks and Arrivals hall are on the ground floor, the Departures hall is on the first floor. After the security check you will arrive at the waiting areas and boarding gates (1, 2, 3, 4).
