Bus to Santander
The airport bus stops are located near the exit of the Arrivals hall. Buses to Santander and other places leave from here. The bus service of ‘Transporte de Cantabria / Alsa City’ departs every half an hour from the airport and the bus station in the centre of Santander (Estación de Autobuses). A bus ride with Bus S4 City Centre takes approximately 15 minutes. Tickets for a single trip cost € 3.20 and are available from the bus driver, children under 4 years of age travel for free. Buses run from 06:30 hours in the morning until 23:00 hours in the evening. For the city buses in Santander of ‘Transportes Urbanos de Santander’ you will have to pay € 1.30, children up to 3 years can travel for free in Santander. Alsa to Bilbao, Laredo, Gijón and Oviedo
It is also possible to travel by bus from Seve Ballesteros Santander Airport to Bilbao (Basque Country), Laredo (Cantabria), Gijón and Oviedo (Asturias). Several times a day there is a bus from the airport to Bilbao via Laredo and to Gijón via Oviedo. The journey time to and from Bilbao Intermodal bus station is approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. It takes 2.5 hours to get to Oviedo and 3 hours to Gijón. Prices vary, take into account € 10.00 for a single journey.
