São Paulo Congonhas Airport is the second busiest airport in Brazil after São Paulo Guarulhos Airport. The airport is used almost exclusively for domestic flights, most of which are operated by GOL Airlines and LATAM Airlines. Of the three airports in São Paulo (Congonhas, Guarulhos, Viracopos – Campinas), São Paulo Congonhas Airport has the best location relative to the city centre, in other words, the other two airports are further away. The airport is operated by the Spanish company AENA since 2022.
