General information

Taipei has two airports, known as Taiwan Taoyuan Airport and Taiwan Songshan Airport. Taipei Taoyuan Airport is the largest international airport in the country and home to China Airlines and EVA Air. The smaller Taipei Songshan Airport is mainly used for domestic flights.

Where is Taiwan Taoyuan Airport situated?

The airport is close to the coast, northwest of Taoyuan and west of Taipei and New Taipei City. Taipei is the capital of Taiwain, New Taipei City the largest city in the country.

How many terminals does Taiwan Taoyuan Airport have?

Taiwan Taoyuan Airport has two runways, in between you will find Terminal 1 (18 gates) and Terminal 2 (20 gates). T1 consists of a main building, Concourse A North and Concourse B South. T2 consists of a main building, Concourse C North and Concourse D South. In order to meet the growing number of passengers, the new Terminal 3 will be opened in 2026.
