Tbilisi Airport is by far the largest airport in Georgia, most flights are operated by flag carrier Georgian Airways. You can travel by bus and taxi between the airport and the city, in the future Tbilisi Airport will be accessible by metro.

Tbilisi Airport is situated east of the capital. The city can be accessed through the Kakheti Highway. In 2005, a part of this road was named after a former US president: George W. Bush Avenue. The E60 motorway is close to the airport.

The airport consists of two terminals (Departures and Arrivals) that are located next to each other, connected by a walkway. The new Arrivals terminal was officially opened in 2017.
