General information

Uyuni Airport is a small airport in the southwest of Bolivia, at a high altitude with. It has one terminal and one runway (4,000 metres). The airport was opened in 2011 by former president Evo Morales. Uyuni Airport is popular with tourists who want to visit Salar de Uyuni, the largest salt flat in the world. Before departure, Every traveller must pay an airport fee (Tasa de Aeropuerto) of 11 BOB at the information desk.

The airport is located just northwest of Uyuni and can be reached by car via road 30 (Uyuni – Challapata).

How many terminals does Uyuni Airport have?

The Bolivian airport has a small terminal, consisting of two floors. All facilities are located on the ground floor, Departures is on the right and Arrivals on the left. After the security check you will enter a small area with only two boarding gates.
