General information

Vancouver Airport is Canada’s second busiest airport consisting of three terminals and three runways. It is the largest airport in western Canada, popular with tourists and business travellers. The beautiful Vancouver Island is located near the airport, as is the border with the United States. The city centre is accessible by metro and taxi.

Where is Vancouver Airport situated?

Vancouver Airport is located on Sea Island exactly between Vancouver and Richmond. The airport is situated south of the city of Vancouver and can be reached via the Grant McConachie Way.

How many terminals does Vancouver Airport have?

The airport has three terminals, known as Domestic Terminal, International Terminal and South Terminal / Aérogare Sud. Domestic Terminal and International Terminal are located under one roof and because of that also called Main Terminal. The terminal is divided into three zones, flights to destinations in Canada depart from gates A, B and C, flights to the United States from gates E. All flights to other international destinations leave from gates D. Main Terminal has four floors, namely Level 1 Services plaza, Level 2 Arrivals, Level 3 Departures and Level 4 Train to city. South Terminal (+ seaplane docks) is located south of Main Terminal and used by regional airlines.
