Venice Airport, named after the famous explorer Marco Polo, is one of the busiest airports in Italy. Airlines Ryanair, Wizz Air, easyJet and Volotea have a base at Venice Airport. Venice Airport has one terminal consisting of three floors. The Arrivals hall is located on the ground floor, like the Public Transport Tickets Office and check-in desks 92 to 99 and 101 to 139. Check-in desks 1 to 59 and the security checks are located on the first floor, there is a dedicated security check for flights to the United States. After the security check you will get to the boarding gates which are located on the first floor and ground floor. For flights departing from gates 42 to 65, you must go through passport control. The Marco Polo Club Lounge and Food Court are located on the second floor after the security check.
