Vilnius Airport is Lithuania’s busiest airport, before Kaunas Airport. The number of passengers at Vilnius Airport has grown significantly since 2010, partly due to the increase of Ryanair, Air Baltic and Wizz Air destinations.

Vilnius Airport is located south of Vilnius, close to the main expressway of Lithuania (A1 highway). The road ‘Dariaus ir Gireno gatve’ lies parallel to the airport and takes you to the city.
How many terminals does Vilnius Airport have?
The busiest airport in Lithuania has two terminals, the old Arrivals Terminal and the new Departures Terminal (also known as T4). The new Departures Terminal was officially opened in February 2025. The terminals at Vilnius Airport are connected after the security check.
