If you want to travel from Warsaw Modlin Airport to Lodz, you can choose for the train from Modlin railway station. Travel time from the airport to the third largest city in Poland is at least 3 hours.

Train to Warsaw

You can take the shuttle bus to the nearest train station (Stacja kolejowa Modlin), where you have the possibility to board a train to the main railway station of Warsaw (Warszawa Centralna). Trains of Koleje Mazowieckie run several times per hour to the stations Warszawa Wschodnia / East, Warszawa Centralna, Warszawa Gdańska, Warszawa Zachodnia / West and Warsaw Chopin Airport. The journey time to the central station in Warsaw is around 40 minutes.

The shuttle bus runs every 20 to 30 minutes, travel time between Warsaw Modlin Airport and Modlin’s train station is no more than 10 minutes. Airport tickets can be purchased at the airport for 22.40 PLN, it includes the bus ride. You can also reach the centre of Warsaw directly by bus, without any transfers. The bus company Flixbus connects Warsaw Modlin Airport with Młociny metro station and Dworzec Autobusowy Warszawa Zachodnia (Warsaw West Bus Station), the final stop is Warsaw Airport. Approximately every hour a bus departs in the direction of the city and the airport. The journey time to the bus station situated west of the city centre is 50 minutes. You can get off earlier at Młociny metro station after 35 minutes and change to metro line M1 (blue) to the centre of Warsaw (Ratusz Arsenał).
