Every half hour a regional train (RE10) runs between Kleve Bahnhof and Düsseldorf Hauptbahnhof. First, you should take the bus to Weeze or Kevelaer. Bus SW1 will take you in 11 minutes to Weeze Station, a bus journey to Kevelaer takes 19 minutes. Buses depart from and to the airport once an hour. Bus tickets are quite expensive, a single ticket costs € 3.30 to Weeze and € 7.00 to Kevelaer. At both places, you can get on the same train heading towards Düsseldorf. The journey time is 1 hour and 5 minutes from Weeze and 1 hour from Kevelaer. Bus to Nijmegen
Weeze Airport is located close to the Dutch border, it’s possible to travel directly to the Netherlands by public transport. An express bus runs every two hours between Weeze Airport and Nijmegen railway station. Bus SB46 operates nearly 24 hours a day. From Weeze Airport the first bus leaves at 04:36 hours and the last bus at 00:36 hours. From Nijmegen the first bus leaves at 02:40 hours and the last bus at 22:40 hours. The journey time from Weeze Airport to Nijmegen and vice versa is 1 hour and 5 minutes, the route includes four stops in Goch and two in Kranenburg. At Nijmegen railway station, you can take the train to reach other places in the Netherlands. Tickets for the bus can be purchased online through the website and app of DB NRWay (VRR Preisstufe C). The price is € 18.90 for adults and € 2.00 for children from 7 up to 14 years, children up to 6 years travel free on bus SB46. Airport Weeze Shuttle to Düsseldorf
In May 2024, a new direct bus connection called Airport Weeze Shuttle was introduced between Weeze Airport and Düsseldorf. Five to six times per day a bus runs in both directions, from Monday to Sunday. Travel time from Weeze Airport to Düsseldorf Hauptbahnhof (ZOB Zentraler Omnibusbahnhof, Bushaltestelle Nummer 8) is 1 hour and 15 minutes. The price for a ticket including one piece of hold luggage and one piece of hand luggage is € 24.00 per person. There is no discounted rate for children. If you want to use this bus service, you will have to make a reservation, which can be done online through the websites of Weeze Airport and Airport Weeze Shuttle.
