Ho viaggiato verso Verona da Manchester con la mamma di 87 anni . Molto scadente il servizio di assistenza, mi aspettavo più gentilezza.

pessimo trattamento da parte della sicurezza mi hanno quasi fatto perdere l'aereo per Venezia per un controllo assurdo su una bottiglietta di liquore comprato all'interno dell'aereporto di reykiavik, e tra l'altro se la sono tenuta ( illegalmente ) veramente delle brutte persone .

Controlli di sicurezza assurdi e inefficaci
Abbiamo perso il volo dovendo quindi ripagarci un biglietto per tornare a casa. Nessun supporto e sensibilità, viaggiavamo con un bebè di 8 mesi. Ci hanno bloccato per un ora e mezza ai controlli. Ci hanno buttato tutto il cibo per il bebè. Tutto per il controllo di una valigia. Inefficaci e inefficenti.

The security check staff was awful and had a disgusting attitude. There were 3 men: one Indian elderly male, one Arabic male with a beard and another white/British male with beard; all harassed me verbally while telling me to take ALL my things out not just the liquids and by saying I shouldn’t have packed my stuff like this, I should’ve checked the website before coming to the airport for more details on how security checks are done. First they made me take out all my stuff from my bags not just liquids and searched through everything even though I took the liquids out and placed it in the zip lock bag as I was told to do so in the beginning!!
They even took the perfumes i bought from DUTY FREE and unwrapped the boxes and took it all out of the box. After doing so they left a few of the perfume bottles open in the bag which I found later to be all spilled in my bag. I don’t understand why it’s sold in duty free if I can’t carry them through security. The white British male out of the 3 also went through my undergarments pockets and touched everything when he knew there was no liquid in there because that bag was not flagged by security radar. While doing all this they were being extremely rude to me, giving attitudes and making snarky comments to me, laughing among each other and also making comments on a different language. Once they were done checking everything the elderly Indian male told me to move all my stuff because he has to get the next customer and didn’t even give me a second to gather my things that they spread all over the table!! I asked this elderly Asian/Indian gentleman (who was also a part of this issue) to call management, he threatened me that he won’t let me board my flight if I don’t move right now and to give him my boarding pass which I refused to do so and I asked him again for his supervisor, but he walked off and never came back. I waited for him but eventually I had to leave because there was less than 30 mins left to board my flight.
They do not have proper training to speak to females and were constantly giving me bad attitude and making me uncomfortable. I also was embarrassed that 3 men were going through my personal things in public like that while laughing and commenting which felt like a a violation of my privacy. I understand I agreed to bag check when I booked the flight and I had nothing to hide but there is an appropriate way to speak to a female passenger as opposed to a male. The lack of respect and unprofessional was disgusting. It’s the staffs job to alert the passengers of their security protocols prior to starting security checks instead of rubbing it in our faces that we shouldn’t have brought this or that or packed things in a different way. Not everyone has time to read all discretions posted on a website and moreover the British airways app doesn’t even work for me to access any information on bagging or security.

I've heard Terminal 2 at Manchester Airport is quite ok. My flight was from Terminal 3 and it was horrible... old and dirty. Besides, moving walkways between train station and T1/T3 were out of order and free airport WiFi didn't work. There is a lot to improve!
